So I have made the commitment to ME that today is the day I start changing me into whom I want to be! I may post several times a day or I may post once at the end.. i have not figured out exactly how this will work but I WILL make it work!

Today started with sleeping in a little, the last several weeks have been very stressful and very busy, so a day of sleeping in was good for me! I did however start taking the Relacore I purchased yesterday! It has mixed reviews... some say "IT WORKS" some say"Though I didn't see a significant weight loss i DID see a change in my Mood, levels of Anxiety and Stress" and of course some say "It is a waste if time and Money!"

In my opinion most "diet" pills that promise the world are a scam... but i can also say that from my personal experience that I tend to use "diet" Pills as a gentle reminder to myself to A. Watch what i eat and B. Remember to work out! Obviously a PILL alone will never fix what you have done to your body over the years, however in many cases the all natural (or in some cases not so natural) ingredients will start to help your body balance itself from all of the years of abuse we have put it through.

I am generally really bad about taking pills on a regular basis, in fact I am pre-diabetic and i am s'posed to take my meds 3 times a day and have not done so in some time - this too is changing today!

About 2 years ago when I was first diagnosed with pre-diabetes and was shocked, well maybe not shocked I mean i am over weight and I do eat horrendously at times but still I was only 34 and diagnosed with a "disease!" At that time I was "smacked" into the realization that i needed to do something.. and I DID! I started going to the gym, I started eating healthy and I lost 50 lbs! between May and October! I was fast approaching getting below that HUGE 200 lb mark .. i was SO excited .. I went out and bought some new clothes and was really proud of myself!

Then Oct 11th I went in for elective surgery for a reduction, things went great, i healed well, it did take a while to stop hurting from all of the muscle being bruised and such so alas my exercise went to the way side.. I started getting lazy and started doing "simple" meals and fast food and going out to eat .. and well 2 years later I have gained all of my weight back

SO.... Today i start my transformation and i WILL succeed.. I WILL lose the weight and be cleared of having Pre-Diabetes! This is my Vow to myself! I will not say I wont eat out or I wont on occassion grab fast food.. I am sure I will .. i am also sure I will indulge in cakes or pies or cookies on occassion as well.. BUT the key will be moderation! I hope to keep everyone updated daily as to what my situation is and how I am SUCCEEDING! I hope I don't bore you all to death with my ramblings and I hope I can maybe even inspire some of you to take the journey for YOU!

Today i WILL eat better than I did yesterday, I WILL exercise more than i did yesterday and I WILL feel better about ME than I did Yesterday! I will treat today as it is .. a PRESENT!

What a wonderful idea--to keep you on track. Best of luck. I lost 40 pounds last year prior to our daughter's wedding, but I've gained about 15 of it back over the last 10 months. I need to get "back on track". Thanks for the inspiration!
